PENGARUH KECEPATAN FEEDRATE FRICTION STIR WELDING (FSW) TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK DAN STRUKTUR MIKRO PADA ALUMINIUM PADUAN AA 2024-T3

Friction stir welding (FSW) adalah suatu teknologi pengelasan yang merupakan proses solid-state joining bisa digunakan untuk menyambungkan material aluminium dengan mampu las rendah. Proses FSW memanfaatkan putaran dari tool menggesek dua buah lempengan logam akan disambung. Aluminium 2024 T3 ketebalan 4 mm disambung menggunakan variasi feedrate 13 mm/menit, 15 dan 25 kecepatan spindle 910 rpm kedalaman pin 3 mm. Pengujian dilakukan pengujian tarik, kekerasan uji struktur mikro pada masing-masing pengelasan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan tarik regangan tertinggi terjadi mm/menit sebesar 221,51 MPa 3,60. Kemudian terendah 198,63 2,26. Nilai di area nugget zone dihasilkan yaitu 137 VHN nilai 105 VHN. Hasil foto TMAZ (Thermomecanically Affected Zone) mengalami perubahan seiring berubahnya feedrate.
